![]() With that much rain, July ‘23 is now the wettest July on record (they date back to 1905). Month to date, 11.38″ of rain has been measured at Bradley Airport (for the Hartford Area). Stay tuned to us on air and on the WFSB Weather App for the latest details! Then, it looks like we could have some wet weather in store for Friday and Saturday. ![]() Oppressive humidity will make it feel especially steamy on Thursday and Friday. Wednesday through Friday we have the potential to see our second heat wave of the year - at the moment forecasting 3 consecutive days in the Hartford area in the 90s. We could see a couple showers or even an embedded thunderstorm roll through in the afternoon, otherwise - it’s a nice day. Tuesday looks a little more promising, but once again nothing substantial at all. Monday will be nice for most of the day, but western CT may see a couple sprinkles. The heat is on once we get to Wednesday! Before that, highs will be in the upper to mid 80s Monday and Tuesday and it will feel muggy at times. The humidity continues to feel comfortable - but it won’t stay that way as we get through this upcoming week. Any outdoor activities will be a home run - whether heading to the beach, the park or just going for a walk outside. The Harford Yard Goats play at 1:10 pm today and the New Britain Bees at 1:35. Highs may nudge slightly higher than yesterday & in the middle 80s. As high pressure builds, we’ll see a good amount of sunshine and the calmer wind sticks around. If you loved yesterday - we get basically a repeat day today. It’s a refreshing feeling out there this morning with a much lighter wind than yesterday! We’re starting off this morning in the 60s & low 70s.
